The Frankenbeute^® raised floor* is equipped with a ventilation and Varroa grid that slopes down to the entrance hole. This enables optimum ventilation and makes it easier for the bee colony to remove waste from the entrance hole. There are two small recesses directly below the entrance hole that can be used for attaching various accessories. The appropriate accessory, e.g. a clip-on flight board, can be inserted directly into the recesses. This means that no assembly using screws or nails is necessary. There is a working flap at the rear of the base for quick and easy inspection. The Frankenbeute^® raised floor has a running shaft to accommodate a Sticky Boards, which can be inserted from the rear and thus replaces the insert plate.

The Frankenbeute^® complete system

The Frankenbeute^® complete system is characterized by the fact that different frame dimensions can be used with a uniform external dimension. This is made possible by the different wall thicknesses of the frames depending on the frame size. The Frankenbeute^® complete system has suitable frames for 12 frames German standard size (DN), 10 frames Zander, 11 frames Langstroth, 11 frames Dadant US or 11 frames Dadant Blatt and thus the right frame size for every beekeeping business. All Frankenbeute^® Wooden Hive frames are fully compatible with each other thanks to the high-quality workmanship, which also applies to our Frankenbeute^® Wooden Hive frames.
