Prof. Dr. Friedrich Hainbuch, born in 1953, studied Catholic theology, history, philosophy, sports science, medicine and gerontology. He was awarded a doctorate in theology in 1982, a doctorate in philosophy in 2004 and a doctorate in medicine in 2007; he was appointed Associated Professor at the University of Oradea/Romania in 2011. He is the author of numerous scientific works and popular science Books. As a hobby beekeeper, Prof. Hainbuch has been studying the causes of global bee mortality for many years, in addition to the medical use of Hive Products.

The honeybee is the third most important livestock in the human food chain. Three quarters of all crops that feed humanity are pollinated by bees. In recent decades, however, there has been a worrying worldwide mass extinction of entire bee colonies.
