In terms of accident prevention regulations, this appliance is a heating device for use in a wax melter for which the following safety regulations must be observed:

Never allow water or liquids to enter the housing of the heating cartridge; only switch on the heating cartridge in the wax melter; ensure a tight fit in the water tank; avoid dry running; keep the base dry; pull out the mains plug before maintenance. Risk of electric shock!
Keep children and animals away during operation.
Check the appliance for damage before and after use; contact a specialist in the event of defects.
