Product Description

The EWG wooden folding entrance reducer for Segeberger andFranconian Hives reliably protects your bee colony from mice. Especially during the cold season, mice seek warmth and food—this mouse wedge prevents them from entering without compromising the important air circulation inside the hive.
Thanks to the practical hinged design, the Entrance can be quickly opened and closed without removing the wedge, and when open, it provides an additional entrance width of approximately 4 cm. This allows you to respond flexibly depending on weather conditions and colony strength—ideal for hibernation and the spring season.

Natural material and precise fit

Made of solid, untreated wood, the hinged entrance reducer fits perfectly into Segeberger and Franconian Hive high-bottom hives. The material is breathable, durable, and bee-friendly, allowing it to integrate harmoniously into the hive system.
Thanks to its precise craftsmanship, the wedge fits securely and prevents slipping or tilting when opened. Ideal for beekeepers seeking a practical, natural, and robust solution to protect their bee colonies.
