Product Description

The Rütli® hive top feeder for Mating Nucs is the ideal solution for safe and easy feeding in Queen Rearing. With a capacity of approximately 0.7 liters, it is suitable for both liquid feed and feed paste.

The hive top feeder is placed directly on top of the compatible Rütli Mating Nuc. The pre-installed queen excluders ensure that the bees have controlled access to the feed and that the queen remains in the brood chamber. A plastic cover further protects the feed from clogging and contamination.

1. Preparation

  • Place the Mating Nuc on a level, dry surface.
  • Checkthe hive topfeeder and plastic cover for cleanliness.

2. Filling

  • For dough feed: Divide the dough into appropriate portions and place them evenly in the hive top feeder.
  • For liquid feed: Slowly pour in the feed and be sure to use a floating aid.

3. Placing on the Mating Nuc

  • Place the hive top feeder precisely onto the Rütli Mating Nuc.
