Quick Guide – Imgut® Business 3 W Centrifuge with Sieve Filler

1. Set Up

  • Placethe filler on a level, dry surface
  • Placethe strainer on the decanter; the bottom of the strainer will curve into the container
  • Placethe extractor into the strainer and secure it with the clamps

2. Assembly

  • Placethe crank arm onto the crankshaft, with the handle facing outward
  • Insert the screw into the retaining groove and tighten it
  • Placethe lid halves on top and slide them under the crossbar until they snap into place
  • Check the nuts and screws before first use

3. Before Spinning

  • Clean the centrifuge with clean water; use a mild detergent if necessary
  • Place the frames evenly in the basket; avoid unevenness
  • Keep the lid closed
  • Keepthe outlet on the filler closed during the spin cycle

4. Spinning

  • Start slowly, then increase the speed
  • After the first side, rotate the frames 180 degrees and spin the second side
  • Check the fill level in the decanter and clean the screen if necessary

5. Stop and Clean

  • Let the basket run out and stop it in a controlled manner using the backpressure brake
  • Lift the centrifuge, remove the sieve, and remove any residue
  • Clean with hot water and dry; do not use alcohol-based cleaners on the crown boards
  • Occasionally lubricatethe drive and bearings with food-grade grease or oil
