Quick Guide – EWG Melting Lid for Universal Uncapping Tank 100 cm

1. Setup and Preparation

• Placethe Uncapping Tank on a level, dry surface.
• Adjust the table to the working height according to the manufacturer’s instructions and secure it.
• Keep the work area free of flammable materials.

2. Place the Lid on Top

• Graspthe melting lid firmly by the handles.
• Place the lid precisely onto the EWG Universal 100 cm Uncapping Tank.
• Check that the lid is stable and lies flat without tilting.

3. Insert the heating unit

• Carefully insertthe heating unit into the designated opening in the lid.
• Make sure the ventilation openings remain unobstructed.
• Lay the power cord so it is not taut, and avoid tripping hazards.

4. Filling and Operation

• Place the uncapping wax and, if necessary, honeycomb into the Uncapping Tank.
• Connect the heating unit to a 230 V power source.
• Select an appropriate temperature on the thermostat (use moderate settings for honey and wax).
• Allow the unit to heat up; the fan ensures even heat distribution.
• Check the melting process regularly; do not operate the unit unattended.

5. After melting

• Turn off the heater and unplug the unit.
• Allow the unit to cool completely.
• Properly remove the melted honey and wax.
• Clean the lid and Uncapping Tank; wipe only the exterior of the heating unit with a damp cloth.

6. Safety & Maintenance

• Usethe maximum temperature only when absolutely necessary.
• Do not clean the heating unit under running water or by immersing it in water.
• Store the unit in a dry, frost-free location.
