The ApiNord® Wendemeister Universal is a professional tool for quickly turning honeycombs during uncapping or in the extractor area. Its sturdy stainless steel construction enables clean, ergonomic work and supports a smooth workflow in the extractor room.

The Wendemeister is mounted on a compatible uncapping tray and holds the comb securely so you can turn it with one hand. This prevents your arms from crossing, reduces comb breakage, and keeps combs from sticking to the support bar.

Quick Guide: ApiNord® Wendemeister Universal

1. Prepare for assembly

  • Place the uncapping tray on a stable, level surface.
  • Position the Wendemeister on the side of the tray so that the working height is comfortable.

2. Attach the Wendemeister

  • Place the Wendemeister against the tub wall.
  • Insert the supplied mounting screws and wing nuts through the holes and tighten them securely.
  • Check that it is stable and has no play.

3. Insert the honeycomb

  • Place the honeycomb so that its bottom edge is in the support area of the turning device.
  • Lean the top bar against it securely so that the honeycomb stands steady and vertical.

4. Turn the honeycomb

  • Guide the comb with one hand along the top bar.
  • Use the turning mechanism to rotate the comb in a controlled manner without crossing your arms.
  • After uncapping, switch sides and repeat the process.

5. After work

  • Detach the Wendenmeister from the tray, if desired.
  • Clean all stainless steel parts with warm water and dry them.
  • Store in a dry, clean place to prevent corrosion and contamination.
