Quick guide - ApiNord® Wendemeister Universal

1. set up

  • Place the Wendemeister on a flat, stable work surface.
  • Slide the plastic tray completely and securely under the stainless steel frame.

2. prepare assembly

  • Attach thefastening screws with wing nuts to the holder provided and check that they are tight.
  • Ensure that all supports and guides are free of dirt.

3. insert and position the honeycomb

  • Insert the honeycomb with the top bar into the frame holder.
  • Align the honeycomb so that the cells are slightly tilted downwards and rest securely on the support bracket.

4. uncapping and turning

  • Uncapping Fork or knife to uncap the capped side while holding the comb in the turning mechanism.
  • Then use the turning mechanism to turn the comb with one hand and uncap the second side.

5. reworking and cleaning

  • Remove the uncapped honeycomb and pass it on to the centrifuge.
  • Remove coarse wax residues from the plastic tray.
  • Clean the tray and stainless steel parts with warm water and food-safe cleaner and dry.
