The ApiNord® 35 kg stainless steel filling bucket is a practical filling container made of Edelstahl Rostfrei® for beekeepers who want to process medium-sized quantities of honey cleanly and conveniently. The flush-mounted stainless steel squeeze tap allows you to fill jars or buckets with honey in a controlled manner without excessive spillage. This bucket is ideal for beekeepers who regularly work with medium to large quantities of honey. If a 25-kg bucket is too small for you, but you don’t want to lift a 50-kg container, the 35-kg filling bucket offers a good compromise.

Yes, you can use it as a storage bucket for individual batches. The lid with a silicone seal protects the honey from dust and foreign particles. For very long-term storage, we also recommend using jars or special, airtight storage buckets.

The bucket and squeeze tap are made of Edelstahl Rostfrei® (stainless steel), and the lid’s gasket is made of silicone. This makes the filling bucket ideal for honey and other liquid foods and ensures it can be cleaned hygienically.

The floor-level spout allows you to fill honey jars with great precision. The squeeze valve enables precise control, so you’ll have hardly any drips or smudges on the rim of the jar and can empty the bucket almost completely.

Rinse the Edelstahl Rostfrei® bucket and the squeeze tap immediately after use with warm water and a food-safe cleaner. Then let all parts dry thoroughly. This will keep the filling bucket hygienic and ready for long-term use.

Quick Guide – ApiNord® 35 kg Stainless Steel Filling Bucket

1. Setting Up

  • Place the bucket on a level, stable surface.
  • Make sure there is enough space under the squeeze tap for jars or buckets.
  • For larger filling volumes, place the filling bucket on a sturdy table or cart.

2. Preparation

  • Thoroughly clean the bucket, lid, and squeeze valve with warm water before first use.
  • Check that the squeeze valve is tightly closed.
  • When storing honey temporarily, place the lid with the silicone gasket on correctly.

3. Filling

  • Let the honey flow from the Honey Extractor or collection container into the filling bucket.
  • Ensure a steady, low-foam flow.
  • Do not fill the bucket beyond its maximum capacity of approximately 35 kg.

4. Filling

  • Place suitable honey jars or buckets under the squeeze valve.
  • Slowly open the squeeze valve and monitor the fill level.
  • Close the tap in a timely manner to achieve a uniform fill level.
  • Optionally, place the lid in front of the bucket as a slightly sloped surface to position the filler slightly higher and improve the filling angle.
  • Close the squeeze valve completely during breaks.

5. After Filling and Cleaning

  • Remove any remaining honey from the bucket using a honey scraper.
  • Clean the bucket and squeeze valve with warm water and a food-safe cleaner.
  • Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before resealing the bucket with the lid.
  • Store the bucket in a dry, clean place.
