Quick Guide – ApiNord® 25 kg Stainless Steel Filling Bucket

1. Setting Up

  • Place the bucket on a level, stable surface.
  • Make sure there is enough space under the squeeze tap for jars or buckets.
  • If using: Position the standor filling cart securely.

2. Preparation

  • Thoroughly clean the bucket, lid, and squeeze valve with warm water before first use.
  • Check that the squeeze valve is tightly closed.
  • Place the lid with the O-ring seal correctly and close the clamps when the bucket is being stored temporarily.

3. Filling

  • Let the honey flow from the Honey Extractor or collection container into the filling bucket.
  • Ensure a steady, low-foam flow.
  • Do not fill the bucket beyond its maximum capacity of approximately 25 kg.

4. Filling

  • Position suitable honey jars or buckets under the squeeze valve.
  • Slowly open the squeeze valve and monitor the fill level.
  • Close the tap in a timely manner to achieve a uniform fill level.
  • Optionally, use the lid as a slanted support for the filler to increase the filling angle.
  • Close the tap completely during longer breaks.

5. After Filling and Cleaning

  • Remove any remaining honey from the bucket using a honey scraper.
  • Clean the bucket and squeeze tap with warm water and a food-safe cleaner.
  • Allow all parts to dry thoroughly before resealing the bucket.
