Independent modifications may impair the functionality and, if not carried out correctly, may result in serious damage to persons and property. The warranty is generally void if unauthorized modifications are made.

In terms of accident prevention regulations, this appliance is a charcoal barbecue for which the following safety regulations must be observed:

• Do not use the barbecue in covered or enclosed areas; Do not allow it to cool down there either; Do not use it as a fireplace or heater.
• Keep a safe distance of at least 3 meters from flammable or highly flammable materials.
• Place the barbecue on a safe and level surface; check that it is stable before lighting it; keep a fire extinguisher or a bucket of sand or water to hand in case of an emergency (fire). Do not use water to cool down the heated barbecue quickly.
• Do not use fire accelerants such as petrol, spirits or similar liquids to light the fire. However, the use of a commercially available, approved barbecue lighter is permitted.
• Keep children and animals away from the hot barbecue; do not leave the barbecue unattended.
• Never barbecue directly in or near the forest - risk of forest fire! To prevent forest and wildfires, a minimum distance of 300 meters is prescribed by law for fires outside paved barbecue areas.
