Round is the new square

A round beehive? Sure, because a sphere retains heat better in winter than any other geometric shape. Andreas Heidinger designed the bee ball based on the natural housing of bees - tree hollows in forests. It offers the bees an "all-round" species-appropriate home with a healthy indoor climate:
