Red propolis is known as a dietary supplement for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. The many different bioactive compounds, including pterocarpans, flavonones, isoflavones, chalcones, isoflavanes, lignans and isoflavonols, are said to have health-promoting properties.

Red propolis capsules are made from a special extract of red propolis, a type of propolis found mainly in Brazil.
