Product Description

The Imgut® IBC submersible pump is a high-performance Honey Pump for IBC containers, barrels, and canisters, and is ideal for professional beekeeping operations as well as larger hobby beekeeping operations. With 230 V, 2000 W, and a flow rate of approximately 10,000 l/hr, it enables fast and clean transfer of honey, feed, and other liquids.

The pump is submerged directly into the container and delivers the liquid to the outside via the pump tube and hose nozzle. This allows you to quickly empty IBC containers and barrels without the hassle of tilting them or transferring contents by hand.

Holtermann’s Practical Tip: When pumping honey, it’s a good idea to warm it slightly beforehand. At around 25 °C, it flows much better, the pump’s flow rate increases, and the pumping process runs more smoothly and evenly.

Die Pumpe eignet sich für Honig, Zuckerlösungen, Futtermittel und andere lebensmitteltaugliche Flüssigkeiten mit niedriger bis mittlerer Viskosität. Aggressive Chemikalien sollten nicht mit dieser Pumpe gefördert werden.

Die Pumprohrlänge ist für gängige Standard IBC Container ausgelegt. Bei Sonderbehältern mit abweichender Höhe oder Öffnung sollten die Maße vorab mit den technischen Daten verglichen werden.

Die Pumpe eignet sich auch zum Entleeren von Fässern und Kanistern, solange die Eintauchtiefe und der Zugang von oben gewährleistet sind und die Medien von der Viskosität her geeignet sind.

Nach dem Einsatz sollte die Pumpe mit warmem Wasser durchgespült werden, damit Pumprohr und Schlauchtülle gut ausgespült werden. Honigreste lassen sich leichter entfernen, wenn der Honig noch nicht kristallisiert ist.

Die Pumpe ist für den regulären Einsatz in Imkereien und Betrieben ausgelegt. Ausreichende Pausen, sachgemäße Nutzung und das Beachten der Bedienungsanleitung erhöhen die Lebensdauer des Motors.

Quick Guide – Imgut® IBC Submersible Pump

1. Setup and Preparation

  • Place the pump on a level, stable, and dry surface next to the container.
  • Check that the mains voltage is 230 V and that the cable is undamaged.

2. Inserting into the IBC or Container

  • Carefully insert the pump by the pump tube into the IBC opening or the container.
  • Make sure the pump tube is submerged deep enough and is securely positioned.

3. Connect the hose

  • Attach a suitable 32 mm food-grade hose to the hose nozzle.
  • Secure the hose with a hose clamp and route it into the collection vessel.

4. Start-up

  • Make sure the pump switch is easily accessible.
  • Plug the pump into a 230 V outlet and turn it on.
  • Monitor the flow rate during operation and avoid kinks in the hose.

5. After Pumping

  • Turn off the pump and unplug it from the outlet.
  • Remove the pump from the container and rinse it with warm water.
  • Let the pump and hose dry, then store them in a clean, dry place.
