Fully integrated and back-friendly:

Our Segeberger vertical half frames are made of up to 4 cm thick Hartpor-Styropor^® and are suitable for up to 5 standard-sized frames measuring 394 x 223 mm. Two vertical half frames next to each other give the same external dimensions as a Segeberger full frame, at half the weight.

If you leave the removable rebate insert in the Segeberger vertical half frame, they can be stacked like a magazine. This means that the frames can be used in conjunction with our Segeberger hive bottom Art. 1221 and the Segeberger hive lid Art. 1224 as a flexible height Nucleus Hives. The frames are suitable for overwintering.

By using the optional raising ring, beekeeping in the adapted brood chamber with standard dimensions of one and a half of 394 x 338 mm is possible in normal operation as well as in the laying hive.

The delivery includes a set of 4 rails, each consisting of two precisely fitting angle and support rails.
