TheANEL^® Smoker was developed with the goal of generating cool steam without causing combustion inside the hive. Because it operates without a flame, beekeepers can use the smoker even in fire-prone areas.

The smoker operates using a heating element and two types of smoking materials, thus producing no open flame.

The“ANEL^® Vaporization Pads” produce steam with the scent of burning wood as well as the scent of pine or lavender. The vaporization pads take about 5 minutes before the heating element becomes hot and produces the desired steam.

TheANEL^® Smoker can also be used with any other Smoker Fuel. In this case, however, just as with traditional smokers, flames may develop and there is a fire hazard.

When using dry fuel, such as pellets (Items 44136–44139), it takes only about 10–30 seconds for combustion to begin.
