Product Description

This powerful round Steam Wax Extractor with a 3 kW heating element is the perfect solution for beekeepers who want to melt honeycomb quickly, cleanly, and reliably. The Steam Wax Extractor is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel; it is durable, low-maintenance, and easy to clean. Connected via a standard garden hose with a quick-connect coupling (Gardena), the Steam Wax Extractor is automatically supplied with water as needed through a float valve in the expansion tank. This enables efficient operation without manual refilling or the risk of the heating unit running dry, thereby protecting the material. Sophisticated technology, robust materials, and user-friendly operation make it a particularly efficient tool and enable smart workflows for beekeeping operations of all sizes.

The wax melter is equipped with a removable stainless steel lid that includes a cool-touch handle and a gasket, and also features two rubberized handles on the kettle for safe operation. An internal steam pipe with an angled outlet ensures that the steam flows toward the center of the kettle, thereby facilitating the replacement of honeycomb frames during operation. The sloped bottom with a floor-level drain and removable brass spout ensures optimal drainage of wax and water. For easy cleaning, the melting basket can be easily removed after detaching the steam tube. The Steam Wax Extractor stands on three sturdy legs with hard rubber swivel casters. Each caster can be secured with a locking brake—for maximum flexibility and safety while working.

Large comb basket—ideal for 16 combs

The sturdy comb basket, featuring a central steam outlet and an integrated mesh screen, accommodates up to 16 standard-size, Zander, or Langstroth combs, as well as up to 10 Dadant brood chamber combs. The 3-mm mesh screen traps wax particles and ensures a particularly clean melting result.

Powerful Heating Unit

The steam heating unit and the water outlet are located beneath the kettle. The integrated heating element offers:
