The Imgut® electric queen cell transport box is a compact incubator, cell transport box and transport case for 54 queen cells. The aluminum case keeps the cells at around 35°C and is reliably operated via 12V, either in the car or via an external battery. This makes the box ideal for the safe transportation of queen cells in breeding operations.

Holtermann practical tip: Before inserting the queen cells, always allow the cell transport boxes to preheat empty for a few minutes until the green indicator light flashes to maintain the temperature. This prevents temperature fluctuations when inserting the cells and ensures more even development.

The Imgut cell transport boxes automatically maintain a temperature of around 35 °C. There is no manual temperature setting. The system regulates itself within a range of approximately 35 °C ± 0.1 °C so that your queen cells are always at the optimum temperature.

The Imgut® queen cell transport box is designed for safe transportation over several hours as long as there is a stable 12 V power supply (e.g. in the car or via a power supply unit). For longer incubation, the queen cells should then be transferred back into the colony or into a suitable incubator.
