Imgut Multihive hive set

Product description

With the optional Imgut Multihive scion set, you can turn your 10-comb Multihive with Varroa base into a practical double scion in no time at all. This allows you to efficiently manage two nucleus in just one hive. This is ideal for structured nucleation and flexible operation.

The set is precisely matched to the Imgut Multihive and can be used for five common frame sizes: Zander, ZaDant, Langstroth, Dadant US and Dadant Blatt. The scope of delivery includes a separator rail for the bottom, a suitable divider board for the Boxes and two short Entrance Guard.

Installation is very simple. The separator rail is screwed into the pre-drilled holes in the bottom, the screws are included. The short Entrance Guard replaces the long standard slider and creates two separate Entrances. This means you can convert any Imgut Multihive into a Duo nuc box at any time and, if necessary, convert it back to normal use just as easily.
