Quick guide - Smalto V Solar Wax Extractors

1. set up

  • Place the melter on a flat, dry surface.
  • Carefully place the appliance on the lid.
  • Place the legs with the holes on the brackets, tighten the screws first by hand, then with Allen keys.
  • Set the melter upright and position it securely.

2. align

  • Unlockthe stand and turn the appliance towards the sun.
  • Adjust the angle of inclination of the glass surface until the sun is as vertical as possible.
  • Lock the stand again.

3. preparing for melting

  • Insert thewax tray and make sure it is securely in place.
  • Insert theframes into the adjustable holder and position them appropriately.
  • Closethe glass lid and lock it airtight with the clamps.

4. melting out

  • Align the melter continuously to the sun in order to utilize maximum heat.
  • Observe the melting process, only open the glass lid if necessary and with caution.
  • After melting, carefully remove the frames, paying attention to the hot wax.

5. after melting and cleaning

  • Open the melter and allow moisture to evaporate.
  • Remove condensation and dirt with hot water and a soft cloth.
  • Store the appliance in a dry place, do not leave it permanently wet or exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations.
