The EWG^® Velutina entrance cage "muzzle" for Frankenbeute^® flat bottoms is an important accessory for hives when it comes to protecting bee colonies from Vespa Velutina, the Asian hornet. Thanks to the close-meshed wire with openings of 12 x 12 mm, hornets cannot fly directly to the Entrance of the beehive and the attack is interrupted. Bees can fly freely and unhindered through the wire. It can be attached, for example, with a tensioning strap (not included) around the cheeks and the Boxes.
