FAQ - Frequently asked questions about our sun wax melters
A sun wax melter is a flat, well-sealed box with a transparent lid made of glass or double-skin sheets. The honeycomb is placed in the box and the solar wax melter is placed in full sunlight. It should face the sun, with an outside temperature of at least 20°C. The temperature rises to such an extent that the wax melts. There is a wax collecting tray in the lower part of the box.
