Manufactured in knot-free and planed quality in grade A. Tapped, glued, stapled, drilled and fitted with stainless steel frame eyelets. Wired with 0.4 mm stainless steel honeycomb wire

Did you already know?
The wire in the frames should be tensioned so that the wood does not bend too much. As the bee builds the center wall with the frames, the strength results from the expansion in the colony. If the frame wire is too loose or sagging, tension it with a wire tensioner, e.g. item no. 3357.
Our tip:
Do not tension the wire over its entire length but only 5 to 10 cm, this is absolutely sufficient.
