Imgut® Styro Nucleus Hives DN
The Imgut® Styro Nucleus Hives DN made of up to four cm thick EPS (expanding polystyrene) is suitable for 6 standard-sized frames measuring 394 x 223 mm. By using the optional elevation ring, beekeeping is also possible in the adapted brood chamber with a standard size of one and a half of 394 x 338 mm.
The floor has a sturdy aluminum ventilation and Varroa grid as well as a Sticky Boards with Varroa counter.
The frames are supplied in parts with sturdy dovetail joints to save space. They can be stacked like a magazine and are suitable for overwintering.
The lid is sloped so that the water runs off to the side.
The optional feed frame has a built-in slope for lateral access. The aluminum perforated bracket covers this and can be removed for cleaning or for cleaning out by the bees.
