Care instructions

The housing of the steam generator is made of robust steel and is painted black. It is normal for this paint to flake off with continuous use and high temperatures. This does not affect the functionality or durability of the appliance. For those users who wish to retain the original aesthetic appearance, we recommend touching up the paint with special heat-resistant paint that is resistant up to approx. 800 °C.

Please note that this appliance is operated with fire and generates considerable heat. Therefore, protect yourself and all persons working with the appliance adequately against damage and read the operating instructions before using the appliance. Please also note that the appliance is only suitable for outdoor use.

Safety instructions

The safety and operating instructions in the supplied instructions for use and the statutory accident prevention regulations must be observed.

Persons who are unable to operate this appliance safely due to their physical, sensory or mental capabilities, inexperience or lack of knowledge must not use it or must not use it without supervision or instruction by a responsible person.

Independent modifications can impair the functionality and, if not carried out correctly, can lead to serious damage to persons and property. The warranty is generally void if unauthorized modifications are made.

Wear heat-insulating hand protection.

In terms of accident prevention regulations, this appliance is a wood-burning stove for which the following safety regulations must be observed:

• The wood-fired steam generator must never be operated unattended. A working fire extinguisher and/or a bucket with at least 5 liters of quartz sand must always be kept ready.
• The fire in the combustion chamber must never be extinguished with water, otherwise there is a risk of a life-threatening deflagration. Instead, it must be extinguished by removing oxygen with an air lock.
• The minimum distance to combustible materials is 2 meters. There must be no flammable objects near the stove during operation.
• The appliance may only be operated outside of forests and at a minimum distance of 100 meters from forest stands. Observe the legal requirements in your federal state.
• Do not use any explosive, highly flammable or solvent-containing liquids in the wax melter, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion.
• The product must be checked for damage before and after each use. In the event of damage, a specialist must be called in to repair it.
• Only carry out maintenance work when the oven has cooled down, not during operation or when the appliance is hot.
• Keep children and animals away from the running steam generator to avoid the risk of burns.
