The full face mask is equipped with a standard connection in accordance with EN 148-1, meaning that only certified filters with a corresponding standard connection should be used. The full face mask is not equipped with an oxygen supply system and may therefore only be used in areas where the oxygen concentration is above 19.5% vol. Use in oxygen-deficient or hazardous environments is not recommended. Appropriate precautions must be taken if the environment is potentially explosive or has an oxygen-enriched atmosphere. Furthermore, the masks should not be used as respiratory protection against air pollutants with low warning signals or against chemicals that generate high reaction heat. If there is any doubt about the ambient conditions, the use of insulating respiratory protective devices that function independently of the environment is recommended. If damage to the full face mask is detected, use in a danger zone must be terminated immediately. The same applies if the mask no longer allows adequate breathing, dizziness or discomfort occurs or contamination is noticed. It is essential to always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the use of gas and particle filters and not to make any modifications to the device. The use of masks with aggressive chemicals is prohibited. The use of the devices by untrained or unqualified personnel must be avoided. When not in use, they must be stored in a closed container and kept at a distance from contaminated areas. The tightness of the mask can be impaired by beards, long whiskers or spectacle frames, which can lead to air leaks. In such cases, use of the mask is not permitted and the wearer is responsible for any damage caused by improper use.
