Melting out
The material of the Imgut^® plastic honeycombs is suitable for use in a steam wax melter or water bath, but not in a sun wax melter, as this reaches temperatures of over 100°C inside.

Tip: Hang the north honeycomb back into the frames immediately after melting or boiling so that it does not warp. This ensures that the plastic honeycomb retains its usual straight shape even after the melting process.

Use
The necessary Hoffmann spacing, the outer frame and the middle wall with natural cell shape are produced in one piece. It can be used together with conventional wooden frames. Before first use, coat both sides with liquid beeswax, e.g. with the coating roller.

Tip: We recommend that you do not immerse the north honeycombs completely in hot beeswax, as this can cause them to warp considerably.
