Pouring & pulling
Our own beeswax:
Making candles from your own beeswax requires several clarification processes to remove residues from the wax. These are often invisible to the naked eye, but lead to the candles burning uncleanly.
Our tip:
By repeatedly liquefying and slowly cooling, pomace residue and other suspended matter can slowly collect and settle at the bottom. After cooling, scrape these off with a stick chisel. Repeat this process until the candles burn cleanly. Alternatively, use our double clarified beeswax pastilles Art. 12103 made from 100 % pure beeswax for pouring candles.
