Steam generation
Steam generation in beekeeping facilitates a variety of beekeeping tasks - from cleaning frames and General Tools to melting wax. We offer two different variants for generating steam: the electrically powered steam generator, our ApiNord® Dampfmeister Pro 7 liter, and the wood-powered steam generator, our ApiNord® wood steam generators.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about our steam generators
We recommend using distilled water to prevent the steam generator from calcifying. Alternatively, the steam master and the steam wax melter should be descaled regularly, at the latest after the fifth use, e.g. with acetic acid. The degree of scaling depends on the hardness of the water used. You should also ensure that the minimum water level is maintained during use. The heating coil must be in the water during operation.
