The EWG^® Velutina entrance cage "muzzle" for 12 Dadant varroa bottom boards is an important accessory for hives when it comes to protecting bee colonies from the Vespa Velutina, the Asian hornet. The close-meshed wire with openings of 12 x 12 mm prevents hornets from flying directly to the Entrance of the beehive and the attack is interrupted. Bees can fly freely and unhindered through the wire.
