The EWG^® Velutina entrance cage "muzzle" for 11 Frame DN Hive High Bottom is an important accessory for hives when it comes to protecting bee colonies from the Vespa Velutina, the Asian hornet. The close-meshed wire with openings of 12 x 12 mm prevents hornets from flying directly into the Entrance of the beehive and the attack is interrupted. Bees can fly freely and unhindered through the wire. It can be attached, for example, with a tensioning strap (not included) around the cheeks and the Boxes.
