Top Bar Hive Village-Box

Single-room hives are among the oldest known bee dwellings in the world. Even today, this method of beekeeping is back in fashion. Adapted to the frame dimensions German standard size and Zander, they offer an alternative and supplement to classic magazines or rear treatment hives. Top Bar Hive City- Boxes are increasingly found in cities and urban centers, e.g. on roofs or balconies, which is why they are also referred to as "city or village boxes". Manufactured from 20 mm thick, knot-free and untreated solid wood, all hives are solidly glued and screwed together. The delivery includes an insulated outer lid.

The floor is equipped with two continuous skirting boards for improved air circulation and increased protection against soil moisture. It also has a sturdy aluminum ventilation and Varroa grille and a Sticky Boards that can be pulled out on both sides. Special features: Lateral arrangement of the flight hole, both the flight hole cover and flight board can be attached, the flight hole closure and mouse slider can be stowed away inside the Village box to save space if required.

The hives also have two additional ventilation openings on each end. These are fitted with a grille on the inside and can be closed from the outside.
